Auditions for Remembering #9: Stories from the Farmington Mine Disaster will be held on Tuesday, August 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 5 to 6:30, in the Studio Theatre – 314 Wallman Hall.
Readings will be from the script. If you have a monologue, you may present it, but it is not required. If you have a resume and a head shot, please bring them, but they are not required either.
The cast list will be posted by this Friday, August 28 at noon, with the first rehearsal slated for that same afternoon, 4:00 p.m.
Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30, Friday evenings from 4:00 to 7:00 and Sunday afternoons (times to be determined).
Show dates are scheduled for September 25, 25, 27, 29 and 30.
Dr Kirk advises that the script has been revised. There will be up to 7 women and 10 men selected, with many parts doubled.
The play will be entered in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
